Jonny McKee is a highly accomplished Physiotherapist and Clinical Director with over 20 years' experience in his field.
Originally from Northern Ireland, Jonny gained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Masters of Health Practice (Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy) with Distinction from the University of Ulster. He worked in a variety of different settings in the NHS in Northern Ireland, progressing to a senior role in the Musculoskeletal Outpatients area.
With 22 years’ experience in a variety of public and private clinics, Jonny's expertise spans the broad range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
His special interest area is treating clients suffering from chronic Headaches and Migraines — to be able to provide relief to a client, after they’ve tried other forms of therapy without success, is something he finds hugely satisfying. Jonny is a qualified Watson Headaches Physiotherapist and also a qualifies Pilates instructor.
Jonny is a talented sportsman and an accomplished runner, having represented Northern Ireland at age group and senior level and locally in New Zealand winning many club races including Round the Bridges. His passion for running and athletics sees him leading the Junior Club Nights for the Cambridge Athletics & Harrier Club.
Jonny is based at our Leamington and Te Awamutu clinics and leads the Physiotherapy team at Align Health, leading clinical education and development across the clinics.
